The
Beaches School's VPK Program Earned a Perfect Score in Kindergarten
Readiness from ELC of Duval. A score earned by only three of the other
290 schools tested in Duval County.
Curriculum
Our teachers plan, provide, and guide children, always encouraging the fun in learning and the fun in making new friends.
The
early childhood years are a time of rapid growth and development.
Children need a comfortable, enriched environment where they are
encouraged to succeed. The Red School House is just this place. Children
are loved and nurtured in a happy and home-like atmosphere.
Our
program is structured to encourage growth in language, math, motor
development, social studies, science, and social-emotional skills. Focus
is put on: expressive and receptive language, memory development,
music, art, thinking, reasoning, problem solving, observing,
discovering, sorting, classifying, counting, computing, sequencing,
predicting outcomes, reading, and writing.
Instruction
is organized to provide active participation in learning centers and
interest areas. Our teachers provide daily whole-group activities, small
group activities, and individual guidance.
